All undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students that have no other option for medical, hospital and pharmaceutical insurance are eligible for full coverage by the National Health System with expenses covered by the National Organization for Health Services Providers by simply showing their Social Security Registration Number.
The European Card for Infirmity Security is issued to all students who may travel to other EU countries and, also, the covering of any expenses that might be incurred there, is still carried out by our Institutional functionaries under the conditions which may apply. The application for issuing the ECIS should be submitted before the departure date with a Studies’ Certificate attached.
For students traveling within the Erasmus mobility framework for study purposes, official proof of their participation must be issued by the International Relations Office of the University. For any other reason of traveling, a Responsibility Declaration (as prescribed by Act 1599/1986, art.8) must be submitted, declaring the purpose of the travel, accompanied by a photocopy of the person’s Police ID Card.
