Charalambos Gnardellis graduated from the Mathematics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1981.

He continued his studies at the University Pierre et Marie Curie-Paris VI, where he received his master’s degree (DEA) and his doctoral thesis in Statistics (1985).

He worked for many years as a principal statistician in international multicenter studies, publishing a significant number of papers in English, French and Greek.

His scientific interests focus on the use of analytical methods in Biostatistics.
